Chelsea travel to Manchester this weekend to take on the sky blues. Their last encounter Saw Man City demolish Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will be looking for revenge after that embarrassing defeat, but both teams have a lot to play for.
Chelsea are currently at the top of the league but barely. They are only 1 point away from number 2 Liverpool and their opponents Manchester City who both have 30 points each. A win this weekend would increase that deficit to 4 points depending on how the reds do in their game away to Bournemouth on Sunday. Chelsea are on a role having won all of their last four games, including last weekends tie with Tottenham where they came back from a one goal deficit to take the game 2-1.
Manchester City sitting in 3rd place on the table on 1 point away from the top spot. A win for them this weekend would put them at the top of the table for the night and maybe the week as well also dependent on the Liverpool game outcome. Pep Guradiola and his team coming into this game as favourites having home field advantage and hoping for a repeat of their last encounter with the Blues.
